Coree Levy, DC, CCSP®
Dr. Coree Levy is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner, internationally known for her expertise in soft tissue injuries, myofascial pain and musculoskeletal disorders. She has an extensive background treating professional and collegiate athletes, actors, musicians, and weekend warriors. Her gentle and effective treatment style has made her a sought-after clinician for both acute and chronic injuries, as well as post-surgical rehabilitation and trauma care.
Dr. Levy’s personal background includes reaching the highest levels of technical diving, rowing, as well as training and instructing boxing and Muay Thai. In addition, she grew up on the stage in musical theater, and worked as a professional vocalist for over a decade, allowing her to understand the demands made on performers.
With over 20 years of experience in emergency medicine, Dr. Levy has worked with the U.S. Coast Guard, LA Sheriff's Department, and LA Fire Department, specializing in the management and treatment of diving accidents at the USC Hyperbaric Chamber on Catalina Island. From 2013 to 2022, she served as the Musculoskeletal Specialist at the USC Engemann Student Health Center, allowing 4th-year medical students to observe her treatments and learn about alternative methods of healing that do not rely on medications. During that time, she was also the exclusive doctor for USC Thornton School of Music, the official team doctor for USC Men's Rugby, and worked with the USC Marching Band, USC Triathlon Team, and USC Equestrian Team.
Dr. Levy was the official doctor for the Swiss BMX Freestyle Olympic Team, which earned a Bronze medal at the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games. In 2021, she became the official doctor for the prestigious summer music festival at Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, California, and has worked for the last four summers with these talented classical musicians and vocalists.
When not at her private practice, Dr. Levy can be found working and traveling with professional surfers, skateboarders, and BMX riders, with the emergency medical team for televised extreme sports, or working backstage with musicians at festivals and concerts. Her current patients also include professional, collegiate, and Olympic athletes, members of the LA Philharmonic and LA Opera, as well as internationally known jazz and rock musicians.
She is devoted to the theatre, an avid art collector, and philanthropist. Dr. Levy has numerous scientific publications and is currently pursuing additional research projects.
